Island Tech Office Equipment has been doing business in Kailua Kona for the past 21 years. We started out in 400 square feet of space in the Gray’s Furniture Building (formerly the Hawaii Printing Bldg) on Kaiwi Street. We quickly outgrew that space and moved into 1000 Square feet on the corner of Kaiwi and Pawai Place. Over the years we have expanded to over 3500 square feet and transitioned from installing the first mobile phones, refilling toner cartridges and repairing personal copiers and fax machines, to selling computers, printers, related components and supplies.
Our service department has grown and expanded during the years. As our customers started purchasing computers and printers for business and home use we naturally expanded to repairing computers and printers both in our shop and at customer locations.
We are proud of the fact that so many of our customers have been with us since we opened our doors, that we can greet so many people by name when they walk through the door. There have been many success stories as we have watched so many local businesses grow and prosper during the years. Kona has grown a lot over these years but it is still a wonderful place to live and work.
